For a truly authentic Italian Neapolitan pizza, visit The Long @ Times Square where each day the master pizza chef from Naples, Italy takes to preparing the premium ingredients to ensure a quality Neapolitan pizza is served to each table.
Starting with imported San Felice flour from Naples, Italy, the chef mixes the dough with water, a dash of salt, and yeast. The dough is left to proof for more than 48 hours to develop the wonderful texture and flavor of the pizza bread.
For a traditional Margherita pizza, the chef at The Long uses a sauce made from San Marzano tomatoes, basil, Fior di Latte cheeses and the finest Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The pizza is baked at 400 degrees Celsius in an Italian-made Acunto Napoli wood-fire oven and served hot to your table.
